- Lymph nodes; it filters the lymph and fight the pathogens present in it.
- Tonsils: it stops entry of the germs through mouth and respiratory tracts.

- Thymus gland: it is the site of maturation of T cells and teaches T cells to distinduish between self and non-self components.
