- The company has obtained a new contract to finish up some apartments that had been constructed by another firm whose contract has since been terminated by the building consortium that hired it. There are six apartments. DeLaw Construction Limited has the contract to first electrically wire each apartment and to then paint them. Wiring must be completed before painting and the company can only work on one apartment at a time. Determine the optimal sequence in which DeLaw Construction should do each apartment. Provide a time line for the sequence as well. The table below shows how much time each apartment is estimated to require for both wiring and painting, in days.
