I never will understand this day to the fair and what all happened, I don’t think anyone will. I just know that one animal ruined a month for me. It was the week right before fair, and all I did was walk my cow. It was the first time ever showing a cow, my brother convinced me that it would be a fun learning experience. That didn’t happen at all for me when I walked into that show ring with a 1,100 pound steer. I was up at 4:00 a.m. the morning of the show, and I was ready to go wash my cows and get them ready for the show.
My dad helped me wash Scooby, which was the name of my cow. Everyone helped me get prepared and taught me how to use the show stick and how to walk around the cow for showmanship. He was so clean and had a nice bedding of wood chips. I gave him water and a little bit of feed, since your not suppose to give them a lot of food before the show. I hurried up and got dressed in my blue plain button down shirt and my jeans with my show belt and show boots. I had someone do my hair and do my makeup.
I grabbed my calf, Axl, and headed to the arena. I waited in line until my class was called. I was a little nervous, with some confidence that I would hopefully place good. Well I messed up how to do my show stick and I let Axl walk ahead of me. In my opinion they didn’t teach me as well as they should have. I

I looked up in the audience and I saw my family. Now I still had a smile, I didn’t know what to do. The audience was scared, I could tell by their faces, as I was walking out of the ring. As we were walking out my cow fell 2 times for no reason. The one time his eyes were rolling in the back of his head. I thought instantly that my cow was dead. Wouldn’t you if you saw his tongue falling out of his mouth? We finally made it out of the ring and my dad rushed over to help them get Scooby back to his stall. It took 6 guys to get him
So I’ll start from the beginning, this morning we saddled up the horses to check the fence like we do every morning. But this morning there was a little problem, the fence in the back field was down and the cows were gone. So we got the ranch hand together and went out to look for the cows. Some of us were on horses and some of us in the truck, but then we saw a huge stampede of cattle and in the distance I could see a cow with our brand on it.
Royalton High School follows a 7 period day schedule, 50 minutes class periods, typically 5 days a week beginning at 8:15am and ending at 3:22pm. A regularly scheduled day consists of seven four minute passing periods and a 15 minute homeroom at the end of the day. Homeroom is not considered as a scheduled class, and even though it is not required, it is still beneficial to many students. The sole purpose of homeroom is to inform students of extracurricular activities, scholarships and college visits, the announcements, and reduce class absences.
The recent comments made by former Indigenous Australian boxer Anthony Mundine and soprano performer Deborah Cheetham, have sparked a controversial debate regarding the place of “Advance Australia Fair” in modern day Australia. At the centre of this disagreement, there lies a much more serious issue concerning Indigenous Australians and the timing in which the national anthem was introduced in regards to the Stolen Generation. Is it time to change, to mend and assist with reconciliation?
I learned how to make things from banana bread to a blanket to a wood planter box. The projects that I made and entered at the fair helped me become a well-rounded person and I am so thankful for that. Not only did making the projects shape my life, but learning to talk with the judges and tell them about my project was a great experience for me also. I was also taught how to learn from my mistakes and receive constructive criticism from the judges. I did not always receive a blue ribbon and I would have to learn from that and how to make my project better the next time. The things 4-H and my projects taught me growing up is
#1 – May 1, 1893 12:08 at the east end of the administration building – The fair is official initiated when President Cleveland turns a gold key, completing an electric current that causes an exuberant display of water works, the release of a large American flag, and the firing of the Michigan, resulting in the audience to sing and revel in its beauty and grandeur. Thus, the significance of this event is revealed as being the start of the Great Chicago World’s Fair. (Larson 237-239)
When you walk into the fair from the entrance you can see the dirt in the air. The smell of the popcorn is like a peaceful smell. The sound of tractors is loud and it kind of sounds like a buzzing bee. The feel of the dust on my face makes me feel sticky. Also, the taste of my walking taco is delicious every bite. I had to throw the football into 3 hoops and I missed. I was mad because if I got all 3 footballs in the 3 hoops I would’ve got a football jersey! I was able to spend time with my best friend Brylan and his family. Brylans little brother won a giant aired up baseball bat and kept on hitting us with it. The State Fair is so much better than tulip time because at the State Fair there is a lot more

There are things without which a person simply is unable to live a single day. Undoubtedly, it's the food. Meal of the day plays an important role, because through food we get energy. that is needed for to move: the Energy your brain needs to think. Also with the help of food we are able to adjust their mood. All of us have long known that eating food should bring positive emotions. Many believe that eating foods with a beautifully laid table, is only beneficial to their health. Eating in cafes or restaurants brings them pleasure. as for me, I prefer to eat at home, because you don't need to think about etiquette . The same house is much more comfortable. But when visiting cafes, I enjoy the dishes that can't make itself at home.Don't forget
