Is it true that the sum of the voltages in a parallel circuit's loop equals zero? Give a brief justification.
Kirchhoff's Voltage Law, also known as the loop rule, states that:
The sum of all voltages around a closed loop is always equal to zero.
The sum of voltages entering a closed loop is also equal to the sum of the voltages leaving the said closed loop.
The sum of the voltages along the same direction as the current is equal to the sum of the voltages opposite the direction of the current.
The answer cannot be found on the other choices.
The figures below show six circuits which consist of identical ideal batteries, resistors, and inductors. All of the switches are closed at the same time.
Rank the circuits based on the current through the battery immediately after the switch is closed.
Rank from largest to smallest. To rank items as equivalent, overlap them.
