Answer to Problem 6CR

The measure of the larger angle of the parallelogram is 1050

Explanation of Solution

Given information: The following information is given

Consecutive angles of a parallelogram are in ratio 7:5

Formula used: The sum of the consecutive angles of a parallelogram is always 1800

Calculation: Now, we assume the angles to be 7x and 5x respectively. Thus, we add them up to sum up to 1800 , we get

  7x+5x=1800x=150

Hence, the larger angle will be 7x , thus substituting the value of x , we get

  7x=1050
