Chapter 5, Problem 4RQ
Summary Introduction
To review:
The role of thermophiles within PCR technology.
Introduction:
Thermophile microbes are those that grow between 50-58-degree Celsius temperature conditions. These microbes require optimum temperature to grow actively. The growth of microbes occurs when all their proteins are working actively. The fluctuation in the optimum temperature, slows down the activity of enzymes, which in turn lowers the microbial growth.
