Explanation of Solution

Reason for JK flip flop often prefer SR flip flop:

SR flip flop:

• The SR stands for “SET/RESET”. SR flip flop considered as one of the most basic sequential logic circuit possible. It consists of two NAND gates.
• The reset input will reset the flip flop go to its first state with an output “Q” that will be either 1 or 0.
• The “S” and “R” are the inputs and “Q” and “$\overline{\text{Q}}$” are the outputs of the SR flip flop. The output of the each gate is attached to the one of the input of another gate.

Explanation:

• In the above truth table, if both the inputs are “0” the output will be no change. When SR values are different, the “Q” takes the value of “S” and when both the inputs are “1”, the output is undefined
