Introduction: When two organisms interact with each other in order to survive, it is known as a symbiotic relationship and both the organisms living in a symbiotic relationship gain equal benefits. Mutualism, competition, parasitism, and commensalism are the four main types of symbiotic relationships. When two species choose to live together, it is known as facultative symbiosis and when two species live together in order to survive, it is known as obligate symbiosis.
