Introduction:
Oncogenes are the cancer-causing genes that promote cancer. Theyare a result of the activation of proto-oncogenes. The proto-oncogenes are normal cellular genes which help in the cell division. The proto-oncogenes can be made into the oncogenic genes by certain mutations which cause cancer in the body.
