Chapter 2, Problem 7PP

It is difficult to make a budget that spans several years, because prices are not stable. If your company needs 200 pencils per year, you cannot simply use this year’s price as the cost of pencils 2 years from now. Because of inflation the cost is likely to be higher than it is today. Write a program to gauge the expected cost of an item in a specified number of years. The program asks for the cost of the item, the number of years from now that the item will be purchased, and the rate of inflation. The program then outputs the estimated cost of the item after the specified period. Have the user enter the inflation rate as a percentage, like 5.6 (percent). Your program should then convert the percent to a fraction, like 0.056, and should use a loop to estimate the price adjusted for inflation. (Hint: This is similar to computing interest on a charge card account, which was discussed in this chapter.)

Write a program that calculates the change due a customer by denomination; that is, how many pennies, nickels, dimes, etc. are needed in change. The input is to be the purchase price and the size of the bill tendered by the customer ($100, $50, $20, $10, $5, $1)
Using Paython Write a program that asks a student for his grade (out of 100) in 3 exams and then print out his final grade (out of 100), given that the weight of the first exam is 30%, the second 30%, and the third 40%.Example Input:Exam1: 70Exam2: 80Exam3: 90Example Output:Total Grade = 81Explanation: 0.3 * 70 + 0.3 * 80 + 0.4 * 90 = 81
Write a program that asks the user how many credit units they have taken. If they have taken 23 or less, print that the student is a freshman. If they have taken between 24 and 53, print that they are a sophomore. The range for juniors is 54 to 83, and for seniors it is 84 and over.
