To discuss:

Freud’s views on the relative influences of heredity and environment and Freud’s position on the issue of free will versus determinism.

Introduction:

Freud’s image of human nature is not optimistic, he argued that the every person condemned to struggle with their inner forces, which we always think to lose. On Free will versus determination, Freud held a determinism view which state that the our adult personality is determined by interactions which took place before age five at a time when we are in total control.
