A small infectious agent, incapable of its replication is called as virus. It depends on the host’s cellular machinery for its replication and thus producing new viral particles. The reproductive cycle of majority of viruses follow certain commons steps: attachment, entry, integration, synthesis of new viral components, assembly of virus, and release.
