Kids Should Be Less Homework

There should be no homework. What if you have plans and can’t get it done? Here are some reasons why I think there should be no homework. Most kids hate homework. Many adults get confused with modern day homework. Kids rush to finish homework and go meet with their friends.

Kids shouldn't have homework. Kids have stuff to do like sports, spending time with family and working. Instead of doing 6 or so hours of homework every night. “homework came in behind not only socializing but also exercise or sports as well as working for pay.” (Gazette,par. 24) I agree because some students have to rush to get their homework done at lunch or before school because they either have sports or have to go to work everyday.

Students feel more stressed and turned off to learning, which is, a lifelong pursuit when it comes to homework. Too much homework turns kids off to learning and makes them less rather than more invested in school and learning. Are children having too much homework? There has been a big disagreement about if students should have homework or students should not have homework. Some people say they should not have homework and some say they should have homework. Children should not have homework, because it wastes all of the time out of school.

What kids should be doing with there time is spending time with there family and friends instead of being stuck in there room for long periods of times doing homework that could of be done at school. Also the parents may want to go out with the family and can't because that would affect the kid doing there homework and the parents don't want the kid to do bad in school so they would have to stay home to help them with there homework. For adults they hate when there work life pores into there free time and student also get that way

Shouldn't kids work on homework like these days instead of spending time with their family? Kids should be able to spend more time with their friends and family. I think this because homework is very hard and challenging. Homework can give headaches and also stress. My opinion is that homework should not be something to do at home.

However, the majority of families have two parents that work full time and if they are having to come home and help their younger ones with work that should only be done during school hours, then it is more stress added onto their day. The time it takes for a parent to have their child to do homework could range anywhere from one to two hours. The problem with that is that families tend to be on a set schedule after school and work. When they are set to a schedule some things tend to get cut like playing outside, family bonding time, and in some cases it could cause the child to get to bed at a later time. Lack of sleep not only effects the child, but it also pays a toll on the parents. Therefore, homework not only has a bad outcome on the students but their relationship with their parents and home

When a student goes to school for seven hours a day, and then goes home to three hours of homework, they do not get to be a kid. It is suggested that student adopt an eight-eight-eight schedule. Students shouldn’t have homework because they can’t go hang out with their friends as much. Students have responsibilities outside of school that they have to take care of.

High School students shouldn't have more than two hours of homework a night due to sports, work, and their social lives. Just imagine if you had to go to work all day, then come home and go to work again until two in the morning. How effective would that make you in the morning? You would simply just be distressed and unable to work the whole next day and then before you know it you have to stay up and work until two in the morning again. Now relate that to kids and homework, when they have to stay up and do it after a long day that they already had. And after other activities that students have had they don't have time to do that much homework.

Most studenst have activities outside of school. These activities take up a lot of time witch mean they eat dinner and start homework latter. When the studenst get home they still have to eat dinner and do homework. Sometimes homework can take hours to do witch would make the students stay up late to finishit. The students should get less homework so they can sleep and preform well in school.

First, one of the reasons need less homework is they can not be a kid. In the text, Kids are overwhelmed by homework. A parent says that her 1st grade son has to write a 2 page paper on a person. Schools are pushing kids too much (Wilde). As the parent says, kids have too much homework. The kid have a first grader do a 2 page paper. That is crazy. With kids having crazy amounts of homework, soon it will destroy kids for having fun in their lives. From an article, 23% of 13 year-olds usually do 2 hours of homework a night. More they do, less they learn (Dancingdiva333). With kids having up to 2 hours of homework, some people think kids can not take much more. Last, kids need to be kids because they only get one chance to be kids, and homework crushes

Kids should have less homework because that child has worked hard all day we need a break! the first reason why I think it should be less homework is because it is true that students are going to find ways of not doing their homework, but that is called cheating. There are now tools that allow students to cheat with consummate ease. There are even math completion tools that do the math for a student. This means that homework cannot be used to test the knowledge of a child.
