Question
Chapter 9.2, Problem 2SB
Summary Introduction
To review:
The amplification of the signal transduction pathway.
Introduction:
Signal transduction is the transmission of the physical or chemical signals by a relay of events taking place inside the cell. The ligands eliciting the response bind to the receptors which induce a cascade of phosphorylation to induce cell response. The phosphorylation of the protein inhibits or stimulates cellular response.
