The climate was mostly hot and dry before the continents shifted, but after Pangea split, it became more humid. This time is also considered the "Age of Reptiles" because those were the main animals on earth at the time. Dinosaurs walked on land for the first time in this period, and they were a sight to behold! You'll be able to see many reptiles that are now extinct, such as the ichthyosaurs and plesiosaurs, which were both fish-like animals. Along with those, you'll be able to see a lot of the reptiles we know today roaming with the dinosaurs! The main dangers we may encounter are volcanic eruptions, dinosaur dangers, heat, and bad weather. Since this time period took place immediately following an extinction event, it could be a little more dangerous, but every time period has its dangers. The dinosaurs are probably the most dangerous things around, but as long as we're quiet and careful, we'll be ok!
