Note : 0.9% (m/v) NaCl and 5.0% (m/v) glucose is isotonic solution

 

Solution.A : 1.2% (m/v) NaCl indicates crenation of RBC, because this solution is hypertonic with respect to RBC due to that water inside the RBC passes outside which results  RBC to shrink.

 

Solution.B :  0.52% (m/v) glucose solution indicates hemolysis, because this solution is hypotonic with respect to RBC . 

 

Solution.C :- distilled H2 indicates hemolysis.

 

Solution.D : 6.36% (m/v) glucose indicates crenation.

 

Solution.E :- 5.0 % (m/v) glucose and 0.9 % (m/v) NaCl  are isotonic so they belongs to niether category.
