Although I am very lazy, I knew that I had to put effort into all of my high school years. Also, I knew that I had to maintain a great G.P.A. In life, one will always have to make important choices. One of the most vital decisions one must make in one’s entire life is choosing a career. For some people, choosing a career can be very difficult but for me it was the total opposite. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always felt the need to help everyone around me. My family members would always call on me to take care of them and I always took great pride in it. I always seized the opportunity to take special care of my pets when they were ill. I knew what my calling was even as a little girl and it was to become a doctor. Right now, however I am on the way to becoming a Registered Nurse (RN).
Growing up the main question a child is asked is, “What do you want to be when you grow up? “ , and most kids respond saying a doctor, lawyer, or a cop. In reality not everyone sticks to their first idea, and it’s slim that they actual start working in the chosen career. In my case, I have always wanted to work as a social worker or a therapist, but I realized it wasn’t in my budget. Therefore, I have decided; as well as, grew interest in being a dental assistant for a pediatric office.

Last but not least I am a team player that works great with others and very open minded person ready to learn new theories and new ways. My greatest challenge in nursing would be that everyday there is something new that I would have to learn and try to keep up with all the updates that will go on. I love a challenge, and I don’t let any opportunity to go unclaimed. However everyday will be a challenge in pursuing nursing but it takes a certain person to become a nurse, with the right kind of feeling and complete desire to excel, I know that I am without hesitation that person. So I will accept any challenge that the nursing career has to offers

My Future Goal of Becoming a Registered Nurse From a very young age, I was fascinated by hospitals and everything that went on in them. It was then that I knew, I would become a nurse. 3 years ago, I had the privilege of attending the birth of my nephew.
Growing up my father taught me many life lessons; one that I will never forget was when he told me: “A man living in a house without light will never know where he is going or what he wants to do.” At the time I did not understand what that meant until one day he explained in to me. Without proper goals a person is just lost in darkness and unable to find their way in life.
