The most important duty for implementing a new policy or procedure will involve the managers and leaders in the environment. They should be able to take into account the new updates or purposes are carried out and meet the challenges that go with them for the professionals and service users. Some practitioners may specialize in a specific work role within their field.
Two of the main approaches that may promote the use of policies within in the work role are autocratic and democratic.
Autocratic Approach: Autocratic leadership gives a positive belief about the updates about any policies. However this kind of approach is not highly regarded by many of the working environments. This is due to the amendments being brought into use prematurely for the uses to access them. This approach of leadership and management may be viewed as being too authoritative.
Democratic Approach: This kind of approach is more positive in outlook as it is more productive and relates to people. Democratic leaders and managers should exert their controlling authority and provides stakeholders with the understanding that is needed and value their opinion by listening to any queries or issues they may have. Autocratic- In this management style, the manager becomes the sole decision maker. The manager does not care about the other staff and their involvement in decision making. Policies and procedures are important to reduce the risk of any misunderstanding of employment conditions, for ensuring fairness in the work place and complying with all relevant legislation.
The steps that are in place to mandate the policy are 1) create an outline of the policy. 2) make sure all employees understand and sign the policy. 3) make the policy accessible to all employees.

n order to communicate a new policy or procedure an email should be sent out to colleagues to arrange a meeting. Once the meeting is arranged will communicate the new policy and procedure and what is expected from it. While communicating the new policy and procedure always use proper eye contact and gesture and look at their eye contact and gesture to determine how they feel about this new policy and procedure. Always ask for their opinions when communicating a new procedure or policy as they will be the one affected by this and if they are not happy with it then ask what they think we should do to make it better.
Many policy makers do this by setting goals or objectives within a 30 – 60 -90 day window. Once again information is given in feedback form to the policy makers and over time the data and information is kept in order to review and analyze at a later date. The analysis can be done in many ways one way indicated is by comparing the feedback to a policy already existing. Look at the feedback and determine the positive and negative as it affects the majority of the people as a whole. The thing to remember in the analysis stage is just like dealing with computers and important data or a training and determine how effective the over all training was. Policies are no different, it is necessary to ensure the policy is a positive for all people involved. Same with the negative aspects of the policy, information and feedback are given and gathered in the same manner. It is at this point all information can be viewed in order to determine the pros and cons. Of course if the pros are greater, the policy will more than likely be continued, however if the cons prevail the policy will more than likely be removed. All of this is part of the analysis stage of the policy process. Policy analysis is the way to provide a reality check and continue to drive results for problems as they arise (Lynn. 1999).
In this case, the person in charge has the total ascendancy and domination toward the decision making. According to their position responsibility, they not only monitor each member’s efforts but also the working process for complement. With their absolute power in a group, autocratic leaders may succeed in an emergency situation or chaotic circumstance. However, this style can be usually seen as controlling, bossy or tyrannical due to the high control of its essence of work.
The control of all operation by the Autocratic management style is the use of power over employee and staff and forces them to deal with the customer. This type of leadership makes the decision alone and converts it to the employee which the employee has to work, for example, to deliver the best customer service manger instruct all employee to follow his guidelines for this process.
