The solution of letting less people as refugees into the U.S. and having a better system to determine what people are good or bad, is likely to happen because our president, Donald Trump, supports the idea of letting less people into the country from the Middle East and Africa and the majority of both houses of Congress supports having less refugees enter our country. Some refugees can be dangerous people and we are not sure if they could be terrorist or not. It is very easy for refugees claiming to be fleeing war and persecution but they actually have connections with terrorist groups the commit terrible acts. If we can reduce the amount of people that come into our country from the Middle East and Africa it would reduce terrorist attacks
Across the globe there has been a massive influx of refugees seeking refuge and help. This is in a large part due to the extreme violence occurring in the Middle East, but it also stems from people leaving their native countries because of poverty, religious beliefs, or other things that put them at risk. The nations of Europe have been hit extremely hard with incoming refuges. This makes sense, seeing how close they are to the middle east. What may be surprising is that Canada is also having many problems arising because of the amount of refuges coming into the country. In this paper we shall examine the problems stemming from the refuges in Canada and consider some ways that these problems may be solved.
Can you imagine that your little town is being attacked or even a natural disaster may be occurring and you have nowhere to go? What would you do? How would you survive? You would have to flee your home away from the tragic disaster. You would have no place to call home and all you would have is the clothes on your back. Some in the process of leaving their town never get to see their family again and are lucky if they survive. This is why I believe that refugees should be allowed into the United States under certain conditions. These include having a positive background, being eligible for a job and respecting our nation as well as the people in it. As the US turns refugees away, thousands of lives are being taken away. We could easily help them by taking them into our country. Although some people that enter the country may commit crimes, that doesn’t mean we should turn all of them away. It would cause way more harm than good. Most crimes that happen in the United States are caused by the people that are US citizens rather than the refugees. All of these innocent lives are just being taken away and as many Americans sit back and do nothing about it. When we could be out there saving lives. Our country has to step in and do something about this serious situation. There are solutions we could use to solve these problems by making sure all people that enter this country are good at heart. Outside of very few exceptions our country is mainly made up of refugees and
In both of these articles they talk about refugees. Some families had adjusted a new life after all the bad things that happened to them. When the refugees were being sent away, they felt queasy about where they were going. All the refugees thought they were going to get a document and be U.S. citizens. But they weren't, they were being sent to internment camps. And had to live there.
The U.S. should accept refugees who have background checks because they’re trying to flee from extreme violence, we don’t want history to repeat itself, and they want to start over, they’re not committing terror attacks.
Should america let refugees in the us. I think that refugees should not be allowed in the usa and they should be kicked out of the us because nearly 44% of america are non english speakers that used to be18% so non english speakers are slowly over powering us americans and they will soon kick us out of our country we should kick them out and keep them out for america's sake.
Being a refugee could be an awful thing. At that moment in time it could be a bad thing but if you look on the brighter side of things, it could grow into something amazing. There are so many good things that could come out of being a refugee as well as bad.
Throughout American history, immigrants have been entering the country to avoid political corruption and civil rights violations. The United States have been a safe haven for many. According to the articles; The Refugees at Our Door, A Few Other Times Countries Banned Religious or Ethnic Groups and Feds to states: No, you cannot ban Syrian refugees, America has been a home for people seeking asylum. Attempting to ban refugees from entering the country shows how unethical the morals of America has become. America does not have the ethical right to stop the immigration of refugees, however, it is acceptable for Americans to have their reservations as to whether it is safe to accept strangers into their homes.
Refugees are a vulnerable group who has given up everything in a pursuit of a better life. Cultures from across the world differ in extreme ways. However, with that said no one culture or ideas is the better than the other. Each culture brings different strengths and weaknesses and the best to utilize those strengths is to put them together with the strengths of the others. Cultural competency is something that has to be continually worked on and studied. Cultural differences can make working together very difficult, but with patience, dedication, empathy, and collaboration it can be done. However, without those things the results can be devastating.
Tears have filled my eyes as I am writing this paper. Words cannot express how disable I feel toward these innocent refugees. I have visited Syria once. I have seen how beautiful it is. I have met its people. I have never seen more generous people than Syrians. Also, I am a refugee myself and I know exactly what it feel like to be one. As a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon, I have lived a miserable life without any human rights. Only when I have moved to the United States the condition has changed. As a human being, I am respected here. I am valued and treated equally to others. I never want anybody to be in the same shoes I have been in. They do not deserve what is happening to them. All they are asking for is freedom and they have the full right to have it. All they are protesting for is a life free of Mukhabarat and people spying for
The start of the Atlantic National refugee is the start of all the findings in the areas of mountains and where the animals of the towns come into the picture and play a huge role in their culture. The villagers become a huge part in the agriculture and where it falls in their background. Carter deftly employs personal anecdote, statistics/data, and word choice to sway his readers.
Many people believe that we should let more refugees into our country and that they are helping our country but are they really? How are they really helping our country? Well they are helping us economically, and they help us lower our unemployment rate (which we have been trying to lower for years). If we do let them in how do we ensure ourselves that they are not a terrorist trying to harm American citizens?
Peter T. King once stated, “America has a long and proud history of providing safe harbor for refugees. We must continue to do so, but in a way that keeps America safe.” Therefore Americans have an obligation to stay close to their roots and accept refugees and immigrants into the country while making sure we are still protected. As a country the United States has to take in more refugees because they have the necessary money, the land, and a moral obligation to help.
Because of the recent Paris attack, the refugees have received a bad reputation. America needs the current twenty-seven governors to get on the President’s side. The governors currently are stating they will not allow any refugees because of the fact of terrorism (Panic). They are scared a good portion of the refugees are terrorists in disguise. This can be fixed by the extreme screening the government does before they allow any immigrants in. America’s government could always just revamp the screening for the Syrian refugees. America’s government could use an extreme background check that could see if any refugees had any relationship with ISIS, and if any did, they could just kick them
