I work for the U.S. government at DISA CONUS, there are certain rules that the government with compensation that you can and cannot do. There are a government pay scale and regulations set around that scale so in order to stay competitive in the civilian workforce. Incentive pay is used at the end of the year for employees that have exceeded expectation. You have to be nominated by your frontline supervisor and the nomination goes through the chain of command and is approved to be awarded. The awards range from 500 to 2000 dollars, and occur quarterly, and annually. Recognition is the second reward used in my organization. We have annual, semi-annual, and quarterly awards at different levels, such as Base, Headquarter, and DOD levels. As a student of Memphis, I think that equality should be present now than it ever was in the past. But still, to this day, our economy has not been promoted into becoming equal. With some difficulties, we accomplished our tasks. As a group, we chose an answer. That is the 500k should be divided equally by 50k each. Although my group decided to split the budget equally. I, however, think that the budget should be split in a ranking of the most important job to least important. That meaning the important job gains more money than the least important. I have selected a group to work together on a West Coast Transit project that I believe will be in the best interest for the teams and company. While everyone who works with us today has their own profound talents and characteristics, I have selected a group of six which I believe bring the most to the table in a situation like this because the selected group is willing to put more work in for the good of the organization and will do more than is required. My first choice would be Natalie.
