Good and evil is everywhere in the world. Literature demonstrating this has been around for a long time. In Robert Louis Stevenson’s mystery novella, Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde, the Victorian Era influence Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Utterson’s actions. This time period influenced the actions of Dr. Jekyll. Jekyll is writing his confession to Utterson and reflects back to his younger life.
