Have you thought about your career in the future? Most people in my school know what they want their career for them to be. For example, my cousin who is now a senior, decided that he wanted to go to the military, like many other young men. Even I, a twelve year old girl, knows and planned what she wants to do in the future. I will try really hard to become obstetrician, a type a doctor who delivers babies. The reason for my choice is because of many things about them except the money. That is why I always try really hard in school and it pays off. I chose my career, now it is your turn.
One of the reasons I want to be an obstetrician is because I, as any other person, admire there work. I do not care how much money I will get paid because the only reason I want to be an obstetrician is because I have always admired them because they are the people who help bring new life into our world. They also delivered me, and my whole family so I should be thankful for that. If it was not for them I would not have been on this world and neither would other people and that would not be a happy world. I also admire them because at any time, and

I would be proud because I would be the person who helped many weeks, months, and days just to get a little and precious human being to the world. For example, in my house I am proud of most of my grades and helping out my mom with the kids and chores around the house. If I am proud just doing that cannot imagine how I will feel when I complete my career in the future. I will be satisfied with the care I give my patients because I as a doctor worked really hard just to deliver a little human being and made my patients happier by giving them a new person in the family. An example is when I am satisfied with just have A's and B's on my report card then I will be even more satisfied when I helped deliver a human
I want to be part of the Ultrasound program because I realized that where I’m from people don’t consider going into a major like this. I was raised to become a doctor or a nurse it was either of those or your family will be disappointed. I looked at how many doctors and nurses my community has but rarely any ultrasound technicians. I also like to travel to different parts of the world and I would love to have those skills as a ultrasound technician to help those women who are unable to afford to go to a clinic to see if their baby is in good condition. A woman should never have to choose between making a decision about losing her kid, I want to be able to help those women that are struggling daily whether their baby has a health condition or even letting the parents know their baby gender.
First of all I would like to be in the healthcare field because I would like to have the ability to help parents keep their children safe.I love children and I hate seeing them when they are sick. I would like to be able to help them live a healthier environment by helping them avoid illnesses and by helping them get over illnesses quickly. I would like to one day find a cure for an illness and save multiple children or
During my junior year, I found out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I was always worried about my future because I thought I was not going to know what to do for my career. I did not realize that I have been doing what I liked for so long. At first, I wanted to become a nurse. I always liked the idea of helping people, especially children. I wanted to be a neonatal nurse or a pediatric nurse because I adore interacting with children which is why I decided to join the tutoring program to tutor first to sixth graders after school. The first day, I realized that I liked teaching and helping them and the best part was that they liked me too. Some days, they would wait for me so I could be the one to play with them and help
Little kids everywhere have imagined what they will become as they grow up; a doctor, a musician, a teacher. As an eighth grader, I’ve been given the opportunity to look in-depth at what careers I should consider. Through surveys I’ve learned about my more prominent skills, which has led me to the discovery of paths I should take as I draw closer to high school. As I continue to see my results and take a deeper look at my possible plan for the future, I hope to learn more about myself, discovering a career choice I haven’t considered before, and end up with a better understanding of who I want to be.
To many high school students, college seems like a far away land, a mysterious place where everyone wants to be yet not many know how to get there. As children, our parents tell us how much time we have to think about college, and that it is too far down the line to think about. The truth is it is never too early to think about your future. I, like many people, put little thought into my future career and now am lost in an unfortunate mix of indecision and anxiety. Not knowing where you want to be in the future is a hard burden to bear. Many of us tend to find out that we only know what we do not want, not what we actually do want. Do we want to be poor? Absolutely not. Do we want a boring job? Of course we don’t. We all want our
Many have experienced an encounter as a young child where they are asked what they want to be when they grow up. Answering that question may be easy as a kid because your mind is filled with thoughts of being the unimaginable. As you grow much older, those ideas begin to depart from the mind and you are suddenly more aware of what is and what is not possible in this world. When beginning the most important years of high school, you stop and rethink your career choice numerous times, stressing on who and what you want to be. Many adults such as teachers, counselors, and parents will emphasize the importance of knowing where you want to be in the future during high school, sometimes even middle school. It became imperative that one chose their
All throughout school, students are ask what we want to be when we grow up. Many of us know or have a pretty good idea, but others have no clue what they want to pursue as a career in life, whether it be furthering their education at a university or attending a technical school. There are other students that plan to start work right out of high school. Either way we all have a plan, and the purpose of this paper is to inform you of mine. I personally struggle in making big decisions like deciding what to do with my life, but then I realized I have been asking myself the wrong questions. Instead of asking what I want to be when I grow up, I asked myself what do I want out of life? what are some of my goals that I wish to achieve? This led
As we begin to grow up and come to the end of our high school career we must start to begin to start thinking about what type of career we want to be in. It is very important that a person picks the right type of career for them. Otherwise you will be unhappy with what you are doing and will not enjoy it at all. I am not entirely sure what I want my career to be but I have a pretty good idea as to what type of job it will be. I would like to go into the field of a physical therapist and sports medicine, I fell I will enjoy this more than any other type of career just because I already have a lot of interest in it.
I decided to take this class because I am interested in learning the basics for the medical field. I am interested in being a pediatrician because I enjoy working with children. I look forward to helping families by curing a sickly child or completing a usual check up. No one in my family has entered the field of medicine. I chose the medical field because I feel as if I can provide help for people who need it. Although these are my interest, I am still undecided for what I what for my future and I'm hoping this class can help me make the best
If i were to have a baby pass away in the womb or after i deliver They work with the babies in the hospital when a mother is about to deliver the baby. Many people think that delivering babies might be gross or nasty, but i think that it's amazing. They made a job that lets you bring out a new living thing into the world. I think it's crazy how much one job can affect someone's life for better or worse. I want to be an obgyn when i grow up because i love kids and babies.
The last bit of advice I can give you is simply this; it really is okay to not know what you want to do in college or even better yet with your life. You are meant to grow up in college and find out who you truly are. Don't stress over every little thing, and enjoy every little bit of it, because before you know it, it will be over.
I had thought that high school would be no different than the past. Work hard, pay attention in class, and meet standards for every teacher. I was wrong. My teachers were supportive and only held the most basic of standards for all their students. They worked hard to provide us with assistance to succeed in class and be caught up in lessons. By the first grading cycle, I had exceeded all previous expectations my family had of me. I was both joyous and sad though. Now that I had reached the only goal I ever cared for, I was unsure of what to focus on next. This led me to ask my peers for advice and I realized that most of them also did not know what they wanted in the future. Thusly, after thinking and conferencing with others, I began thinking for myself what I wanted for my future. I was still being held at a high standard by family and friends, however I now had time for myself. I was free to decide what kind of future I wanted. Though afraid as I was of my unknown future, I was
1. Find yourself a career that interests you. There's nothing better than getting up each morning and do what you love. Think hard and long when deciding which road to choose for your future. If you know right away your decision, that is even better yet that it will be the right
First of all, I love helping people. Ever since my sister was born, I wanted to work with babies and help them. When I saw how the nurses and doctors helped my sister and my mom, I was inspired to do the same. It is important to save a baby's life because they are so innocent and haven’t gotten the chance to live. For example, when I was watching Grey’s
Over the years I have thought of many different careers and majors that I believed I should do. Most of the time they were based on what I saw other people, who I looked up to doing. My cousin Courtney was a lifeguard, so I wanted to be a lifeguard, my mom was a nurse, so I wanted to work in the medical field. Then I would be watching sporting events with my dad, and I wanted to be a sports journalist/reporter. It wasn’t until high school that I really started to look at what I liked to do and what I was good at.
