Officer Perry and myself arrived on scene and found Officer Isett out with Kellen Grewell and Annie Tracy. Tracy was in custody and in wrist restraints. Officer Isett seized the pan and observed that there were dried mushrooms in a plastic baggy in the pan along with some smoking pipes. The mushrooms appeared to be Psilocybin type mushrooms (commonly called magic mushrooms, or shrooms). DOC is authorized to search a residence, which a supervised subject is living in, and Tracy is a WA DOC supervised subject. Grewell is being supervised by Jefferson County District Court. I took Grewell into custody on probable cause from Officer Isett, for possession of controlled substance (Psilocybin). I placed him in wrist restraints and locked them for safety and for comfort. I searched Grewell incident to arrest and did not find any contraband or weapons on his person. I read Grewell his Miranda warning and he said he understood his rights and would talk to me. He admitted to me he had the mushrooms in his possession and he was trying to hide them when he was discovered by Officer Isett. At the station I conducted a NARCO 929 test on the mushrooms (lot#15163) and got a positive presumptive test result of Psilocybin. I booked the mushrooms (weighing 9.2 g in the plastic bag) into evidence, as evidence, marked NSH-1 in locker E-2, along with NSH-2, a bag full of drug paraphernalia unrelated to the mushrooms. The drug paraphernalia was marked for destruction.
I notified dispatch that Officer Albert and I were out at the RSC. I parked our patrol car on the north side of the RSC and entered the north door. I heard Officer Smith on the radio say he was out with the subject near the Credit Union. I observed from across the RSC Officer J. Smith and Officer R. Faison standing next to a black male all the way by the Book Store. As I walked closer, I could see the black male with both of his hands up in the air and he was getting down on both of his knees. When I got to the Credit Union, I saw a set of crutches and a black bag laying on the floor. I told Officer Albert to stay here with these items as I continued to go behind the black male. Officer Faison kept trying to talk to the subject but he was clearly ignoring him. The subject who was later identified as
On March 2nd, 2017, Donshavius Lampkin was found to be in possession of two bags (saran wrap formed into baggies) of prescription drugs and two bullets. The items were found in the students’ pockets during the search process. Donshavius Lampkin declined to write a statement. However, he told Dr. Lanier that he found the items and then told the SRO’s that he knew where the gun was located. He stated that the gun was not his, but was located in the tall grass at the intersection of Toddville Road and Freedom Drive. Two units were sent to the location only to find that there was no gun at that location. There was no arrest from CMPD on the pills that were found on the student. The school did suspend Donshavius Lampkin for 10 days and will

Wheetley also noticed that a can of beer was sitting in the vehicle's cup holder. Wheetley asked Harris for consent to search his vehicle. When Harris denied contest, Wheetley retrieved his drug-detection dog Aldo from his patrol car. Wheetley walked Aldo around Harris’s truck for a “free air sniff”, and Aldo alerted on the vehicle’s driver-side door handle. From the demeanor of Aldo’s behavior, Wheetley believed that he had probable cause to search the vehicle. Wheatley's search did not result in any drugs that Aldo was trained in detecting, but the search did result in the finding of materials used to make methamphetamine. PD (Tonkinson & Moyer), Pottsville PD, & Frackville PD (Wendy) were already there. We proceeded to Granny's and observed the silver Impala parked in the lot. Officer Moyer & Tonkinson spoke with the clerk who related the female is staying in room 29 and WHITTEN is in room 31. Room 29 was registered to TASSONE (the victim) who later authorized police to enter the room to search for HECKMAN. Before Pottsville PD was able to make contact with TASSONE for permission to search the room I was unable to make contact with anyone at room 29. I then tried room 31 and Marquese WHITTEN eventually opened the door. Another female was observed inside lying on the bed who was identified as Bobby Jo ROHRBACH. Pottsville police Officer asked Marquese on the whereabouts of HECKMAN and he said he had no idea where she was and hasn't seen her. When asked about her being in his vehicle he denied having any knowledge of it and said he has been driving his BMW all day. He said Bobby Jo ROHRBACH doesn't like HECKMAN so she hasn't been around. Pottsville PD requested for consent to check the room for HECKMAN and WHITTED granted permission. While inside a metal grinder with marijuana was observed lying in plain view on top of the table located against the wall to the right after you enter the front door. WHITTED was asked for request to search the room for the pistol, but refused permission stating we were messing with his sleep and said to get a warrant. After leaving the room the female, Bobby Jo ROHRBACH requested police to have her grinder returned to her. She was informed that it would not be returned to her. Determining for sure whether there are grounds to object to the search and seizure requires review of all of the reports regarding the case. Depending on the nature and quantity of the drugs seized, this could possibly be a serious case. In any event, the person involved should consult with a criminal defense attorney or, if he cannot afford private counsel, with the public defender if he is charged.
