The focus of qualitative research is on the participant's unique perspective, which serves as the foundation for further study. The opposite is a quantitative design, which builds on already-existing data. By merging the two, you are taking the participant's experience and putting it in the context of scientific knowledge. It all comes down to the study's objectives and the questions that will be asked when adopting a mixed method approach. The mixed method design's inquiries seek responses that address the human aspect in related contexts. Mixed-techniques questions can be created to place various emphasis on the study, such as the methods or the topic. According to Creswell (2003), mixed method research aids in addressing unanswered questions. For instance, "What explains the quantitative outcomes of a study?" and "Do participant perspectives from interviews and from standardized instruments converge or depart?" (qualitative information to support the quantitative findings) and "Will a treatment be effective with a certain sample in an experiment?" Quantifying research can be used to portray the significant facets of human subjectivity by employing a mix method approach.
