Self Disclosure 2 agency's conditions are different. Tiffani in the case study is a young teen who has been exploited. The setting I have experience in is a 180 compared to Tiffani ’s experience. As a new social worker who has not seen any other practice field than a hospital, I do not believe I would be of adequate competence so I would have to ask for help from one of my colleagues with a MSW. This colleague would come with me to talk to Tiffani and help me if there is anything I need in case I misspeak during the evaluation. This is only ethical due to standard 1.05 Social Workers competency to clients. Along with the Standard 2.05 (a) Consultation. National Association of Social Workers. (2021) There are seven steps of evaluation and are listed as follows Step 1: Identify the Problem or Concern to Be Evaluated, step 2: Identify and Explore Ways to Involve Stakeholders, step 3: Determine the Purpose of the Evaluation. step 4: Plan the Evaluation, step 5: Implement the Evaluation, step 6: Prepare a Written or Oral Report, and step 7: Disseminate the Findings Dudley, J. R. (2020) A factor that would support each step, would be having prior agency experience in completing useful evaluations, interest, and support from colleagues to help if needed, to ensure that Tiffani is given the best treatment possible from the most competent source possible. For factors that would limit or hinder would be focusing on irrelevant factors or selecting weak interventions that do not help the client in the best way possible, being money focused about what you as the practitioner could gain from this situation is another hindrance.
