Gabriella Nogues Southern New Hampshire University MBA-620-Q1786 10/14/23 4-2 Report: Business Environment Analysis The following document is a report based on the information for TransGlobal Airlines using the PESTEL method. This is being used to analyze the internal and external business environment of TransGlobal Airlines to determine the business environment. P – Political: One political factor for TransGlobal would be regulations regarding international trade and travel. One of TransGlobal’s more appealing qualities is that they have 242 destinations which include 52 countries in 6 continents. Should politics change, different international regulations, this may be hard for TransGlobal to service people looking to travel to different countries. E – Economic: One major economic factor would be that of fuel prices. Without the fuel to properly fuel their aircraft, there will be no travel and could potentially leave the company at a standstill. S – Sociological:
The biggest factor in the sociological component would be that of the customers themselves. Without customers the company would not be able to have a business, and typically they want their customers to have a good perception of the company. T – Technological: Any type of technological advancement would be a positive factor for TransGlobal, because it would increase all airline efficiency. This could be anything from a customer purchasing their ticket through an app, to check-in online to the airline controls and avoiding congestion. E – Environmental: For environmental reasons, this could include any type of unwanted weather behavior. This can be tornadoes, hurricanes or simple thunderstorms. All negative weather behaviors make it almost impossible for aircraft to have visibility and then there would be a safety issue. L – Legal: Like politics, international trade and regulations could greatly impact TransGlobal. Whether it is for the customers to travel to other countries, or to how parts are acquired if they are located in different countries.
