| Barren River, 130 mi/209 km long, S Ky.; formed in Monroe co., SW of Tompkinsville by junction of East and West forks. Flows generally NW through Barren R. L. reservoir and Bowling Green to Green R., just E of Woodbury. East fork rises in NE Monroe co.; flows c.20 mi/32 km SW; West Fork rises in W Clay co., N Tenn.; flows c.15 mi/24 km NW. |
