Daingerfield, town (1990 pop. 2,572),  Morris co., NE Texas, c.40 mi/64 km NNW of Marshall; 33°01'N 94°43'W. Elev. 402 ft/123 m. In agr. (cattle, poultry; peanuts, watermelons; hay), timber area; mfg. (fabricated metal prods., construction materials). About 10 mi/16 km S are iron-ore deposits. Ellison Creek Reservoir and L.
