Source of Tensas R. Agr. (cotton, corn, sorghum, home gardens, rice, soybeans, wheat, pecans; cattle); logging. Bayou Macon State Wildlife Area in NW. Named after James Carroll, signer of the Declaration of Independence. Formed 1877.
