Edzná (ed-SNAH), an historic site, in N Campeche, Mexico, 6 mi/10 km SE of Campeche. This is a classical Maya site although the area was inhabited as early as 600 B.C. Most of the dates found on monuments range from 550810 A.D. This site is representative of the Puuc architectural style. The entire zone covers 1.2 sq mi/3 sq km and has been partly reconstructed.
