Has surpassed East Moline (Ill.) in pop. to become 4th member of the Quad Cities. Mfg. (transportation equip., asphalt prods., pools and spas, electronic prods.; metal processing). Scott Community Col. in adjacent Riverdale. Extensive flooding in area, 1993. Settled c.1840, inc. 1903. |
