| Egg Harbor City, inland city (1990 pop. 4,583), Atlantic co., SE N.J., 15 mi/24 km NW of Atlantic City; 39°33'N 74°35'W. Wine-making center, yacht construction; fruit, poultry, vegetables. Annual agr. fair. Great Egg Harbor Bay lies S, near Ocean City, and Little Egg Harbor NE, near Tuckerton. Settled 1854 by Germans, inc. 1856. |
