R., 3 mi/4.8 km NNE of New Castle, Del., and Pennsville, N.J., and 3 mi/4.8 km SSE of Wilmington, Del.; 39°41'N 75°31'W. Overall length is 3.5 mi/5.6 km, with center span 2,150 ft/655 m long. Completed 1951; twin span completed 1968.
