Haddonfield
 
 
Haddonfield (HA-duhn-feeld), borough (1990 pop. 11,628), Camden co., SE N.J., a residential suburb just SE of Camden; 39°53'N 75°01'W. Of interest are Indian King Tavern (1750), where the 1st state legislature met in 1777, and the Haddonfield historical society; downtown area is historic preservation dist. with many 19th- and some 18th-cent. structures. Site of first complete dinosaur fossil ever found, “Haddonfield Hadrosaur,” made natl. historical landmark 1993. Settled c.1713, inc. 1875.
