Bartholomew, county (409 sq mi/1,059 sq km; 1990 pop. 63,657), S central Ind.; Columbus; 39°13'N 85°54'W. Drained by East Fork of White R. and tributaries. Wheat, vegetables, soybeans, corn, tomatoes; hogs, cattle; timber. Mfg. at Columbus. Camp Atterbury in NW corner; Grouse Ridge State Fishing Area in SW; Driftwood State Fishing Area in NW. Formed 1821.
