| Cayemites Islands (kai-MEET), 2 islets (17 sq mi/44 sq km), W Haiti, in Gulf of Gonaïves, just off N Jacmel Peninsula, 90 mi/145 km W of Port-au-Prince; 18°40'N 73°40'W. Just W of the larger, Grande Cayemite, is Petite Cayemite. Cotton growing; bauxite deposits. |
