Brazos, county (590 sq mi/1,528 sq km; 1990 pop. 121,862), E central Texas; Bryan; 30°39'N 96°17'W. Bounded E by Navasota R., W, and SW by Brazos R. Rich agr. area (cotton, corn, wheat, oats, sorghum, pecans); extensive dairying, livestock ranching (cattle, hogs). Sand and gravel, lignite, gas and oil. Mfg., processing at Bryan. Formed 1841.
