| Braselton (BRAS-uhl-tuhn), town (1990 pop. 418), Jackson co., NE central Ga., 11 mi/18 km W of Jefferson; 34°06'N 83°47'W. Winemaking (wineries open to the public); chicken processing; cellular-telephone and tool-and-die mfg. Has 2 major road-racing tracks. Town went bankrupt in 1994 after being purchased by private investors in 1989. |
