| Bartlett Reservoir, Maricopa co., central Ariz., on Verde R., in Tonto Natl. Forest, 35 mi/56 km NE of Phoenix; 33°49'N 111°36'W. Max. capacity of 1,060,605 acre-ft. Final unit in Salt R. valley-reclamation project. Formed by multiple-arched Bartlett Dam (287 ft/87 m high, 1,063 ft/324 m long; completed 1939); used for irrigation, flood control. |
