In high, treeless, wheat and cattle plains of the Panhandle, on Okla. (N) and N.Mex. (W) lines. Drained by Carrizo, Rita Blanca, and Coldwater creeks. Highly irrigated area, cattle; sorghum, wheat, pinto beans. Part of Rita Bleanca Natl. Grassland in N 1/2 of co. Formed 1876.
