| Dell Rapids, town (1990 pop. 2,484), Minnehaha co., E S.Dak., 20 mi/32 km N of Sioux Falls, and on Big Sioux R. Rock quarries, diversified farming; animal feed, grain. Nearby are the Dells of the Sioux, beautiful ravines cut by the river. Settled 1868, inc. 1879. |
