H. Neely Henry Lake, Calhoun co., NE Ala., 17 mi/27 km SSW of Gadsden, on the Coosa R.; 33°47'N 86°03'E. Max. capacity 109,000 acre-ft. Formed by H. Neely Henry Dam (57 ft/17 m high), built (1966) by the Ala. Power Company for hydroelectric power and recreation; crossed by State Highway 144. Also called Neely Henry L. and Dam; commonly called Henry Neely L.
