QUOTATION:I pass the test that says a man who isn’t a socialist at 20 has no heart, and a man who is a socialist at 40 has no head.
ATTRIBUTION:William Casey (1913–1987), U.S. intelligence chief, director of the CIA. Quoted in his obituary, in the Washington Post (May 7, 1987).

The saying referred to by Casey was attributed to French socialist politician and premier Aristide Briand.
