ATTRIBUTION:Camille Desmoulins (1760–1794), French journalist, revolutionary leader. Speech, July 14, 1789, to a crowd outside Palais Royal, Paris. Recalled by Desmoulins in his newspaper Le Vieux Cordelier (Jan 5, 1794).

Desmoulins was guillotined together with his friend Danton.
