VERB:1. To make bare: denude, disrobe, divest, expose, strip1, uncover. See PUT ON. 2. To make visible; bring to view: disclose, display, expose, reveal, show, unclothe, uncover, unmask, unveil. Archaic : discover. Idioms: bring to light, lay open, make plain. See SHOW.
ADJECTIVE:1. Just sufficient: scant. See EXCESS. 2. Without addition, decoration, or qualification: bald, dry, plain, simple, unadorned, unvarnished. See PLAIN. 3. Without the usual covering: bald, naked, nude. See PUT ON. 4. Containing nothing: blank, clear, empty, vacant, vacuous, void. See FULL. 5. Not wearing any clothes: au naturel, naked, nude, unclad. Chiefly British : starkers. Idioms: in one's birthday suit, in the altogether (or buff) (or raw) , naked as a jaybird, stark naked, without a stitch. See PUT ON, SHOW.
