ramble
 
NOUN:An act of walking, especially for pleasure: amble, meander (often used in plural), perambulation, promenade, saunter, stroll, walk, wander. See MOVE.
VERB:1. To turn aside, especially from the main subject in writing or speaking: deviate, digress, divagate, diverge, stray, wander. Idioms: go off at (or on) a tangent. See APPROACH. 2. To move about at random, especially over a wide area: drift, gad, gallivant, meander, peregrinate, range, roam, rove, stray, traipse, wander. See MOVE. 3. To walk at a leisurely pace: amble, meander, perambulate, promenade, saunter, stroll, wander. Informal : mosey. See MOVE.
