NOUN:1. A small raised area of skin resulting from a light blow or an insect sting, for example: bump, bunch, knot, swelling. See CONVEX. 2. An unevenness or elevation on a surface: bump, hump, knob, knot, nub, protuberance. See CONVEX. 3. Informal. Something justly deserved. Used in plural: comeuppance, desert2 (often used in plural), due, guerdon, recompense, reward, wage (often used in plural). Idioms: what is coming to one, what one has coming. See REWARD. 4. A large, ungainly, and dull-witted person: gawk, hulk, lout, oaf, ox. Informal : lummox. Slang : klutz, lug1, meatball, meathead. See ABILITY. 5. An irregularly shaped mass of indefinite size: chunk, clod, clump, gob1, hunch, nugget, wad. Informal : hunk. See PART.
VERB:1. To put into a disordered pile: bank1, drift, heap, hill, mound, pile (up), stack. See ORDER. 2. To move heavily: clump, galumph, hulk, lumber, stump. See MOVE.
