Fired with intense feeling: ardent, blazing, burning, dithyrambic, fervent, fervid, fiery, flaming, heated, hot-blooded, impassioned, passionate, perfervid, red-hot, scorching, torrid. See FEELINGS. 3. Of a healthy reddish color: blooming, florid, flush, flushed, full-blooded, rosy, rubicund, ruddy, sanguine. See COLORS.
