VERB:1. To decline, as in value or quantity, very gradually: drop off, fall off, slip. See INCREASE. 2. To hang limply, loosely, and carelessly: droop, flop, loll, lop2, slouch, wilt. See HANG. 3. To become limp, as from loss of freshness: droop, flag2, wilt. See BETTER.
