NOUN:1. An organized group of criminals, hoodlums, or wrongdoers: band2, gang, ring1. Informal : mob. See GROUP. 2. Informal. A great deal: abundance, mass, mountain, much, plenty, profusion, wealth, world. Informal : barrel, heap, lot, peck2, pile. Regional : power, sight. See BIG.
VERB:1. Informal. To hold on one's person: bear, carry, have, possess. See OWNED. 2. To fill to excess by compressing or squeezing tightly: cram, crowd, jam, load, mob, stuff. Informal : jam-pack. See FULL, TIGHTEN. 3. To make or become full; put as much into as can be held: charge, fill, freight, heap, load, pile. See FULL.
